Woke up with the sun, the movement, father of all living as the world resting, sleeping away. Began my day with an empty wallet, nothing but my soul ready to be traded. Window shopping through life, I came across a soul I saw through a display. Purchased without a question, Soul for soul, Only a simple answer. I was happy to hear her gospel, deep down into the bottom of my heart. I was sad to see her worry, tears run cold, as her heart ignited, watched her smile, With a frown beneath the mask. I feared her love, Knowing I can do nothing but harm her. lifted her off the ground, sound asleep, I gently put her back in her box. Threw the box in my bag and I began to march back to the man I purchased her from. Took days walking up the stairway to heaven, Took breaks to peek in the box. Joy ran through my body, as I watched her snoozing away. I reached the man and asked him to take her back, God never replied. Told him my reasonings, Gave him my thoughts. He looked down through my body and spoke the words I'll never forget. It's Time.
